AVOID THE
SCAMS
Unfortunately the online gaming
industry is a corrupt business. Not only is the internet
littered with bogus system and software sellers there are also
scammers who will do anything to get their monthly commission,
and rogue casino's that will do anything to get your money off
you and then do anything to avoid giving it you back. These are
just some of the scams you will, or may of already come
across
SCAM 1:
THE AFFILIATE
SCAM
This is the most common scam
you find on the internet. These websites are all over google
with a headline like, "make $400 in 10 minutes." They then say
that their system is free and that they are doing you a
favor.
They tell you simply to bet on
black and each time you lose double your bet. Many of them give
you bollocks like "I'm a doctor of probability and have been
exploiting the online gaming industry for years this system
works because the chance of losing is only 0.94% because
that is the probability of getting seven or more colours in a
row."
Another thing they commonly
say is, "I worked as a programmer for an online casino a while
back and noticed that something was coded never to happen more
than 15 times to make sure no-one questioned the fairness of
the casino."
Why is it a scam?
Have you noticed they say only
use the recommended casino's? That is because they are what's
called an AFFILIATE for the online casino. Did you think they
got them bright flashing casino banners through good
programming? No they got them from the casino.
If you look at the bottom of
any online casino's home page their will be a link that says
either Affiliates or Webmaster's.
Click on them and you will be
told that if you advertise the casino you will receive a
commission (usually 25%-40%) of revenue that you generate for
the casino.
So these scammers sign up, get
an affiliate link from the casino (the flashing banners
that you click on) and then every time someone clicks on one of
these banners the casino knows where they have come from and
when the player loses £100 from the shitty system they've used
the scammer then gets his commission paid into his bank
account.
Just to make sure you don't
cash anything out these scammers tell you to take full
advantage of the casino's deposit bonus, more on this lower
down but this again is a scam, these bonuses come with what's
called wagering requirements usually bet 25X original deposit
before cash out, and roulette does not count towards
them.
What this means is that if you
accept a bonus (and the casino's will do their best to make
sure you do) if you deposit £100 you will have to bet £2500
before you can withdraw anything and if you do try and withdraw
before you meet these requirements, the amount you withdraw
plus the bonus money will be taken away from you
instantly and classed as void. Any bets made on roulette
DO NOT COUNT towards these requirements. (please note if you
are new to online roulette you don't have to have these
bonuses, you can have them disabled so that you can cash out
straight away but this is explained a bit lower down the
page.)
Anyway by saying all this
the scammer makes sure he gets his commission, it's a blatant
scam and should be made illegal. There are loads of these
websites and more are popping up all the time, just please
don't get fooled by this scam.
It's the same with all these
system and software sellers, they also have "recommended
casino's" but why would you need affiliate links to casino's if
your selling a winning system? Surely if they are selling a
winning system they wouldn't make any money would they? The
answer is obviously because they want money from you
twice, the first time when you buy their package, the second
when you go and use their package and lose so they receive a
nice 30% of that as well.
They've got a cheek doing this
to you haven't they?
You will not find any
affiliate links to casino's on this website because this system
works I would lose money because while these scammers earn
money from players losses, in many cases they have to give the
casino a percentage of players winnings if they win money,
other than from progressive jackpots, so it's in the
scammers interests to give you the worst system possible to
make sure you lose money and its in my intrest to simply not
bother.
If your still
unsure of what I mean watch the video below, in it I walk you
through this scam step by step.
SCAM 2: THE
BOGUS REVIEW SCAM
As explained above scammers
lie to get commission from casino's. The same also applies to
pretty much all the roulette system and
software packages out there. Again at the bottom of the
pages you will see a link that says AFFILIATES. If you click
on this you will be told that if you advertise their
system and generate a sale you will receive a commission,
and they tell you how to advertise their system, one of the
ways is always writing a review.
Lets say you stumble across
one of these systems and you don't want to buy it straight
away, you want to find out weather or not its a scam, so you
type in google "is (what ever the name is) a scam." After doing
this you will find tons of "reviews" of the system, and they
will all say about how brilliant it is and how you will be able
to quit your job if you buy it. Then at the bottom of the
screen you will find a link to visit the site.
This is an affiliate link so
if you go back to the site through that link and purchase the
system the person that wrote the review will get his
commission, usually ranging between 50% and 75% of the price,
so a nice sum of money for writing a review.
So why is it a
scam?
These "reviewer's" know
that people are probably going to be doing research before
purchasing and seen as its free to write a review they will
write all sorts of good things about it in the hope that people
will be convinced by their review and buy through their link,
they will write exactly what the reader wants to hear to
convince them. The
chances are these reviewers have never used the product or even
purchased the system,
these reviewers are
almost as bad as the ones that make these
systems.
I
want to make something clear here, not all review's on the
internet are crap, in fact most of them away from the gambling
and work from home industry are not, but in this market
you need to be very careful.
SCAM 3: FAKE
YOUTUBE TESTIMONIAL SCAM
I don't mind naming a few
names for this one. There are a lot of youtube testimonials
especially for roulette sniper. Trouble is these testimonials
are fake for the reasons mentioned in the above scam. Basically
in the video description at the right hand side of the video
they put their affiliate link in the hope you will watch the
video, like what you hear and then click on the link and
go and buy it.
These
losers that make these
videos aren't only desperate but they've also got a nerve. One
guy has the cheek to claim he makes $3000 PER DAY using
roulette sniper. To be honest if you have half a brain you will
know what he is saying is pure bullshit. These guys try and set
it up like the perfect scam by setting up a few different
accounts on youtube and
then commenting on their own video saying things like, "Dude
your right roulette sniper rules I'm not doing as good as you
but I'm still making $1500 per day."
If you actually
click on these bogus user accounts and look at their personal
comments you will usually find either angry
comments from real people saying "your a liar you work for
roulette sniper," or desperate people that just can't
understand that they've been scammed
saying, "What
settings are you using with roulette sniper because
I'm only
betting $1 a time and keep losing."
Unfortunately
because I've said this these losers will probably go and update
all their different youtube accounts and delete all the genuine
comments from real people to try and keep things looking
legit but just believe me that is what's going on youtube
don't believe a word of it.
If you don't
believe me then go ahead and click on their links and do as
they say, just don't start crying when your not making $3000 a
day.
SCAM 4: FAKE
WINNING VIDEO SCAM
I was wondering
whether or not to put this one in because by saying
what I'm about to say
I'm exposing a scam but also giving ideas to less intelligent
scammers but here goes.
I scratched on
this on the home page, all these videos showing winnings of
$300 in two minutes or whatever are all fake. They are always
done in play for fun mode not real money. On the screenshot on
the home page I showed how he had covered up a box that in
fun mode says "play for real money" and in real money mode says
"cashier." Take a look at the screenshot below of what these
actually look like in case you don't know.

(This was taken
from a playtech casino where I do not play I just
opened an account to get these screenshots.)
Obviously the makers of these
videos don't want you knowing that they aren't playing for real
money so like on the screenshot on the home page they cover
this box up.
However their is a sneaky way
of covering this box
and still keep it looking like you are playing for
real money. The piece of
software the video makers usually use to record their video's is called
Camtasia, read about that here.
At $299 it's expensive but
their is a reason for the price, it's the best piece of
software on the market at doing what it does, whether or not
their are other software's capable of doing what I'm about to
tell you I'm not sure.
After they have spent hours
recording themselves and finally got a decent run of video they
then stop the video and cut out the small winning run. This is
when they get sneaky. They are able to stick pictures, or
screenshots of whatever size they want over the
top of their video while it is playing. So what the
scammer does is cut out the "cashier" box from a real money
account and then simply stick it over the top of the "play for
real money" box from his fun mode account therefore making it
look like a genuine video.
Also
as I have already said these video's are
done betting £10/$10 using a progression after a loss. This is
just not realistic at all.
SCAM 5: CASINO
BONUS SCAM
Any system that tells you to
accept a welcome bonus from casino's is a scam. As I
mentioned above these stupid bonuses come with wagering
requirements, and roulette does not count towards them. The
moment you place a bet on any game you will not be able to
withdraw any money, even your own deposit money until you have
completed these wagering requirements.
The casino's act as if they
are doing you some sort of favor by giving you these bonuses,
when really they know most people would of lost their money
long before completing the wagering requirements, this is why
they give you them, they aren't doing it to be kind.
Even when you ask the online
support staff to disable bonuses from your account, they do
their best to convince you to take the bonus because they know
you are unlikely to ever cash anything out if you have
one.
Always make sure you tell the
support staff to disable bonuses from your account BEFORE you
deposit any money, the casino's automatically give you these
stupid bonuses when you deposit money to tie you in, in my
opinion its a scam in disguise, if you want a bonus you should
have to ask for it, not receive it without
fully understanding what you will have to do to cash your
money out. As long as
you disable them before you
deposit you can
cash out your roulette winnings straight
away.
Watch the video
below for more information on the casino bonus scheme and how
to avoid being sucked in by it.
SCAM 6: PENDING
PERIOD SCAM
Many casino's have what is
called a "pending period" before they process a withdrawal you
make. Playtech casino's are the worst for this scam.
What this means is that after
you make a withdrawal it takes the casino four days to actually
process it and in many cases your withdrawal can take over a
week to reach you because of this.
So why do they do
this?
After
you make
the withdrawal they
send you an email telling you that your withdrawal is in a four
day pending period and during this time you can reverse the
withdrawal at any time. Its a scam why not process your
withdrawal straight away why the messing around waiting
for four
days? Basically what
they are hoping is that you get bored waiting for your
money and put the money back in your account and lose
it.
Like I've previously said
playtech casino's are the worst for doing this, pretty much all
of them have this stupid policy, don't be sucked in by it, just be patient and
wait to get your money if you choose to play at any of these
casino's, if you do reverse a withdrawal you are playing write
into the casino's hands.
I don't bother playing at
any of these casino's anymore, why wait nearly a week
to get your money when you can play at other casino's and
have your money in six hours?
SCAM 7:
SECURITY SCAM
This is the most annoying scam
of all again playtech
casino's are the worst for doing this. So you deposit money
into an account you win some money, you make a
withdrawal and then
you get told that you cant have your money until you send them
in photocopies of your identification.
They say that this is to make
sure that your money is going to the right place. But surely if
they are bothered about security they should ask for i.d before
you deposit to make sure the money is coming from the right
place.
Microgaming casino's adopt a
policy of withdrawals going back to the place they were
deposited form. Obviously this means if you deposit with
moneybookers you withdraw to moneybookers, I have no
problem with this. With most playtech casino's they insist on
having a copy of your passport even if you are
withdrawing back to the same source you deposited
from.
But they don't say anything about it before
you deposit, only when you make a withdrawal, they don't
tell you before hand because they know 99% of players won't
deposit in the first place if they know this. If you say
anything to the online support staff they just say you
agreed to it when you agreed to the terms and conditions when
you signed up, its a devious scam.
Who wants the hassle of
sending of your identification, especially as a lot of
people don't have a
scanner, therefore you can't email them what they want
anyway.
Then there's the fact that
most people, myself included, don't feel comfortable sending of
their personal information, to some dodgy online
casino.
So to sum up they will let you
deposit money all day long, but as soon as you try to make
a withdrawal they ask for identification in the hope that you
won't bother so they can keep your money. I'm sure the casino's
won't like me telling you this, but I'm also sure any player or
even a mutual person that never has or will play at online
casino will agree with me that if they are bothered about
security and identification they should ask for it before you
deposit, not let you give them money then ask for
it.
I must say I've never had this
kind of problem with microgaming casino's, only playtech
casino's, 32 Vegas, acropolis casino and casino Tropez are
just a few that have used this
trick on me. This is not the case with all playtech
casino's, you tend to find the ones that are primarily based in
the UK don't try and scam you like this, probably because they
are massive companies which profit hundreds of millions and
have evolved past the need to use these underhand scamming
tactics.
