Labouchere Roulette System
Of all the different betting patterns that we discuss on this site, our
favourite would probably be the Labouchere and that's because it's relatively simple to use, doesn't require
too much of a bankroll and the mathematical theory behind it is sound.
We have actually seen some people charging money for the Labouchere, but why
pay when you can read here for free? So onto the system and how to use it. It's a system that can be applied to all
of the even money bets which are red/black, odd/even and 1-18/19-36.
You start out by devising yourself a betting line which will ultimately dictate
how much you have to bet on each spin. Here is an example of what your starting line of numbers could look
like.
|
1 - 2 - 1 - 3 - 1 - 5 - 2 |
Now what you do is take the left hand number and the right hand number and add
them together and this gives you the amount that you need to bet. In the example above your first bet would be 3
because 1+2=3.
If your bet wins, you cross both of these numbers off and forget about them.
For your next you then use the numbers on the left and the right again. Using the above example again, if your
first bet won, you would have got rid of the 1 on the left and the 2 on the right so your next bet would be 7
because 2+5=7.
This concludes what you need to do after a win, now let's look at what this
system entails in the event of a loss. If you lose you then add the amount that you have just bet onto the right
hand side of your line of numbers and you don't cross any numbers off. Using the above example again, if you
where to lose your first bet, your line would then look like this
|
1 - 2 - 1 - 3 - 1 - 5 - 2 - 3 |
As you can see, a 3 has now been added onto the right hand side, so your next bet
would need to be 4. If you were to lose your next bet then you would add a 4 onto the right hand side and keep
repeating the process until you get a win.
Summary
Always cross off both the left and right hand numbers after a win. When you
cross off all the numbers in your original line, you will be in profit by the total of all the numbers in your
original line added together.
After a loss, add the amount that you've just bet onto the right hand side off
your line and don't cross any numbers off.
Be sensible with your starting numbers, don't have them too high and don't have
too many of them. If you have high numbers you will obviously need to bet more. If your starting line is too long,
you will be trying to complete it for too long and your bets may start getting out of control if you get a few
losses along the way.
Remember that this system is for all even chance bets which as stated above
are: red/black, odd/even and 1-18/19-36.
